The Financial Forum will sponsor a webinar on Friday September 25th at 3:00 P.M. The topic will be “Lessons in Crisis Investing” by the Burton Enright Welch financial planning and investment management firm. The firm earned a place in the Financial Times list of the top 300 Financial Advisors in June of 2019. Our speakers will be Bob Enright and Ben Peters.
Bob started Burton Enright Welch (then Burton Enright Group) with Peter Burton in 1989. Through over three decades, the firm has remained independent, in Walnut Creek, and focused on serving a select client base. Bob was an early recipient of the CFP® designation, having understood financial planning to be an equally valuable service to his clients as investment management. Today, BEW manages over $750 million in assets and has seven advisors. Bob is a native San Franciscan. He attended St. Igntius College Prepatory where he received the Christ the King Award in 2013. He graduated from University of San Francisco with a B.S. in Business Administration. Bob lives in Alamo with his wife, three children, and dog.
Ben started with BEW in 2014 and is a Lead Advisor. Among his responsibilities include leading the firm’s investment and portfolio management strategies. He transitioned to financial planning after a short career in the law and passed the California and New York bar exams. Ben graduated from UCLA with B.A.s in Economics and History. He graduated with a J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Ben lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, one-year old daughter, and dog.
