Mark McMechen will speak on how investors can leverage the tailwinds and navigate the headwinds created by new technologies. He will talk about how new technologies are driving structural and disruptive change in the global economy.
Mark McMechen is a Senior Vice President and manager of investment research at Destination Wealth Management. He is responsible for the firm’s overall U.S. equity strategy, and also serves as a multi-sector research analyst. Mark has over 10 years of equity research experience, primarily covering the technology sector. Prior to joining Destination Wealth Management, Mark worked as a Research Analyst with the Colony Group and New England Asset Management Group. He has also held positions with Samsung America where he focused on early stage venture capital investments and as a Corporate Credit Analyst at the High Technology division of BankBoston.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley and his MBA degree from the University of Southern California, and also completed an exchange study program at the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.
