The Financial Forum welcomes Kathy Jones, managing director and fixed income strategist for Charles Schwab, on Tuesday, September 28th at 3:00 P.M. Ms. Jones will lead us in a presentation breaking down and discussing trends and thoughts surrounding Bonds and Fixed Income, including a discussion on interest rates and inflation. She will also open up the format to allow for a Q&A period at the end.
Ms. Jones is responsible for credit market and interest rate analysis, as well as fixed income education for investors at Schwab. She has studied global credit markets extensively throughout her career as a fixed income investment strategist, working with both institutional and retail clients. Prior to joining Schwab in 2011, she was a fixed income strategist with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where she specialized in global-macro strategy covering domestic and international bonds, as well as foreign exchange. She has also been a consultant with the alternative investment firm Tazo Consulting and was executive vice president of the debt capital markets division of Prudential Securities. She received her bachelor’s degree in English literature, with honors from Northwestern University and her Master of Business Administration in finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
