The Financial Forum welcomes Joel Lesser on Oct 26th at 3:00 P.M. The title of his presentation is A GRF Financial Overview.
Joel joined the Golden Rain Foundation as the Chief Financial Officer in March of 2021. Joel served as CFO for R.F. MacDonald Co. (2013 to 2021) and GSC Logistics (2006 to 2013) for the past fifteen years. Joel was instrumental in creating the infrastructure to support growth, such as closing two acquisitions and implementing several new information systems, such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and Paylocity. Before GSC Logistics, Joel was Vice President of Finance for Ion Systems for four years, a high-tech manufacturer. He was a crucial resource in the successful acquisition of the company to MKS Instruments. In addition, Mr. Lesser held Corporate Controller positions within the electronics, telecommunications, and internet industries. Joel earned his B.S. in Accounting from San Jose State University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Golden Gate University. Joel resides in Alamo with his wife JoAnne and has two adult daughters. Interests include hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, and traveling.
